Half-Life fans have been waiting since the ice age for community mod Black Mesa to be released. Delay after delay, backed up by strategic teasing has seen this mod rise to a level of infamy alongside Duke Nukem Forever and the still MIA Half-Life 2: Episode 3.

Fans may finally have some good news however, with the latest tease suggesting that the mod's release is coming sometime in the very near future. The webmaster of the mod's official site has posted an update, along with a brand new screenshot which is posted above.

It was said that once the soundtrack is released, one could expect the launch of black mesa two weeks after. I can now say that a new website will be launched with the soundtrack in preparation for the mod. Fuck if we care about the current website. Just take a good look at it because it will be gone soon enough.
